Raptor Rehab had some resident birds out for show today at the Vet School Open House. I went along for another morning of pictures. Here are some selects:
volunteer Elizabeth Mateye carries "JD" a resident Harlan's Hawk to a presentation at the nearby vet-school.

resident Kestrel, Haphaestus, had the lower part of his left wing amputated.
volunteer Gerred Knopf chases an eagle around a flight cage for flight rehabilitation at the Center.
frozen mice. center volunteers receive bags of frozen mice to separate and thaw for raptor food.
